About Cheyna

Hi! I am a graduate student at the University of Oregon and a passionate educator. I have 4 years of combined experience in childcare and teaching. I am excited to bring my understanding of child development and behavior to provide exceptional care as a babysitter. With a focus on positive reinforcement and empathetic communication, I strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment for the children I care for. I believe in fostering their self-esteem, promoting their emotional well-being, and encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Safety is always my top priority, and I am well-versed in implementing age-appropriate safety measures. I am trained in CPR and first aid and maintain constant vigilance to ensure the well-being and security of the children under my care. I can help with laundry, light housekeeping, crafts, carpooling, remote learning, errands, cooking/meal prep, and grocery shopping.
