About Cheyenne

I am currently a 3rd and 4th grade special education teacher in Chicago Public Schools. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2013 with a bachelors of arts and received my masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2021. I have taught special education early childhood for 6 years and 3rd-4th grade special education for 2 years. My career focus is working with students to develop social emotional, functional, and academic skills and implement individualized educational plans. I have experience with Chicago's Teaching Strategies Gold Curriculum, GoMath, Reading Street, Wilson Fundations (multi-grade levels), Wilson Just Words, and attended a professional development training on Wilson Reading System. I have background experience nannying and tutoring children 4-8 years old. I am looking to for a part-time tutoring job for the summer.
