About Cheyenne

I recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. I'm currently in graduate school, taking night classes at Mount Mercy University to work towards my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I hope to be a licensed marriage and family therapist, working with families of all shapes and sizes! I love working with kids because they always have something to teach us. They are way smarter than we give them credit for! I started working with kids when I volunteered as a vacation bible school leader. I co-taught arts and crafts and loved helping out with story time as well. I have also worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp for kids struggling with mental health. I learned a great deal about patience and the importance of sharing emotions. I have taken several CPR, first aid, and med management courses. In my spare time, I love to read and do crafts! I like to knit and embroider, and am teaching myself to crochet.
