About Chere

Over the last 14 years, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of students from 6yo to college level. I have taught private, homeschool classes for high schoolers, tutored multiple ages to improve reading/math skills, aided in homework completion, and worked with students in college classes to help them with advanced reading, writing, and math skills and expectations. I enjoy the process of watching students succeed due to my efforts. I am patient teacher with knowledge of different learning styles to best help the student. I work closely with parents, as/when necessary, to meet the needs of the student. I have the techniques and skills to teach at any age or grade level. I have a MA in English Composition/Linguistics. My BA is in Literature with a Minor in Mathematics. I am also trained and certified to teach English as a Second Language (TESL).
