I am certified to teach and care for preschool age children- 90 CLOCK HR CERTIFICATE, and certified in CPR and First Aid. I have taught as a lead teacher at four preschools. One of which was The Young School, I taught with the Reggio and Rie Montessori philosophies: teaching all ages- from infant to preschool (5yo) substituting in all classes. A family I worked with during COVID, had two children- one of which (4yo) I created a small curriculum for and taught alongside my 2yo son. Together we did daily circle times, correlating arts and crafts and sensory/science experiments, basic ASL and Spanish lessons, music, and Kindergarten prep. Our daily centers alternated as well to fit the weekly theme in a Montessori style. While the other child (8yo) I helped with his hybrid learning and classwork. I've also coached high school basketball for 7 years now. Before practices I help facilitate a small study hall for my players and help them with homework, studying and sometimes projects.
