About Chelsea

I'd describe my personality as patient, outgoing, and creative. I have experience in childcare centers, summer camps, preschools, and elementary school. I have my Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology. I am also a certified elementary school teacher in the state of Florida. I did have this transferred to Delaware when I moved back in June, but chose not to go back into the classroom this year. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and I am able to spend time with my own children, as well. I started working with kids when I was 16, when I went to a Vo-Tech school for Early Childhood Education. One thing you should know about me is I am very caring. I will always want what is best for any child in my care. My skills include creating a safe environment, looking for milestones and if children are meeting them, engaging children in age appropriate play/activities, and helping foster language and reading skills.
