About Charna

I am a mother of two fabulously successful married children, grandmother of two Needham granddaughters, and two LA grandchildren. That is a world of experience in itself, but I also taught elementary school, first and second grades. Since moving to Needham in 2013 I have been working with two families: one for a year and the other for the past four years. Just recently the dad began working from home, so he is now able to take care of his children's needs. While working, however, I picked up the girls from elementary school, took them to all of their activities including dance, swimming, Russian Math, music lessons, lacrosse, etc, and kept them on schedule with their homework, school projects, and special lessons. I also planned snacks and on some late nights planned dinner. Even though I am a grand mom, I am still young at heart, physically fit, and you can be certain that while your children are in my care they will be my priority. I have an excellent driving record!
