I just finished a position as a caregiver for a couple with Alzheimer's. I took care of them for a year and a half. They are now in a specialized facility. I provided transportation to and from the dr., prepared meals, medication management, companionship, took care of the cats and a dog. I was also a caregiver for another Alzheimer patient and also a cancer patient with a colostomy bag. I transported them to dr. appts or wherever they needed to go. I also enjoy all kinds of animals but am partial to dogs, cats and horses. I have taken care of animals all my life and have volunteered for several non-profit organizations.
