About Charlene

I have always worked with children ever since starting with babysitting at a young age. I have worked in preschools environment and I helped raise newborn twins and their 2-year-old brother for several years and continue to stay in touch with them (they are all now in their 20s). I have been working with special needs students for the past 20+ years. I have a grown son of my own. I have several friends with young children and I've been involved with their lives since they've been born. I've taken care of children when they are sick and brought them to the pediatrician. I am very comfortable with all of the needs of taking care of a newborn including diapering, bathing and feeding. I enjoy helping children grow and learn. I have fun reading and playing with them, it's a fun way to help them learn. It's very important to work with parents and keep the lines of communication open at all times. I am very responsible and punctual. I fully understand the needs to be flexible when it comes to helping families. I have my own car with a clean driving record a copy of my motor vehicle record is available upon request.
