About Celestyna

Hi there, I'm Cela (they/them/theirs)! I work as a BHP with Casa for kids with disabilities in the Portland public schools! I have previously had 2 years of experience working as a co-teacher in an Infant and Toddler room. I have worked with kids through practicums, internships, teacher aid, taught English, etc, for 5 years previous. I have completed my BA in psychology and completed 1. 5 years in a MA in Counseling but did not finish due to Covid. Most people describe me with kids as fun, reliable, hard-working, respectful, thoughtful, gentle-natured, and creative. I worked at an outside daycare program, so I value getting kids outside and truly will go under any safe weather conditions. I love development and kids and I trust parents know best about their children. My schedule is the regular elementary school hours, so I get out at 2:10. I would be able to do Monday and Tuesday afternoon and possibly Thursday. I would also have the flexibility for occasional weekends!
