Hi! I'm Cat, an ecological restoration worker and caregiver with over a decade of experience in professional childcare for ages ranging from 9 months to 13 years old. My background includes live-in childcare, long-term regular daytime care, overnights, and in-classroom pre-K. I am enthusiastic, loving, flexible, and above all invested in the growth, development, safety, security, and well-being of children I care for, fostering resilience, confidence, self-reflection and self-efficacy, and a sense of connection with the natural world. I maintain that children are people and deserve to be listened to and recognized for who they are just like anyone else. I believe that play is learning and every moment spent with a child is valuable - to them and us alike.
