About Catherine

I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I received my BFA in painting and drawing from LSU. I've been teaching visual art for children with the Arts Council of Baton Rouge for over 7 yrs. I also was the Art teacher for Ascension Elementary/High school for a year. I am adventurous, funny and loving. I have a big heart and work hard. I know when to have fun and when to say no. My easy going and patient nature communicates well with kids. I love playing games, making art, making forts and being outside. I was an Au Pair for a family in Greece for three months caring for a 2yr old boy and a 5 month girl. I helped with cleaning, cooking and laundry for the family. It was a wonderful experience and I really felt like I was the big sister in the family. I was also the nanny for my niece when she was born until around 6months old. I have three nephews that I grew up babysitting (7, 9, 10).
