Catherine is a CRLA (College Reading & Learning Association) certified tutor with 8+ years of professional tutoring experience. Catherine believes in empowering her students to feel confident in the subjects they once struggled with. She is a firm believer that a good teacher does not provide answers. Rather she guides their students to find the answers on their own - fostering confidence and true mastery of the subject! Experience in: spelling, science, history, grammar, reading, writing, test prep, SMART goals and life skills such as organization and productivity. She prides herself in working with each student to create a specialized lesson plan based on their learning strengths. She also regularly updates parents/guardians with pictures, screenshots, and a summary of their child's work at the end of each week to keep them updated on their child's progress.
