About Cassandra

Hi, I'm Cassie! I am a 24-year-old originally from Colorado who is energetic, loving, and well experienced in the childcare field. I have been working with children in different settings for the past 7 years. I spent 5 years at Sandburg Elementary School as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional and Activity Lead for the school age child care program. After those years I earned my Early Childhood Education license and spent 1 year as a Pre-K teacher at two schools. This past year I worked at Doull Elementary School as a Special Education Paraprofessional in a multi-intensive room. I also nannied for two families during distance learning/summers. I have had amazing opportunities to go on missions trips to Rwanda, Swaziland, Jeffrey's Bay, and Costa Rica where I got to plan and lead VBS lessons, crafts, games, and sports camps for the kids. I have always had a passion for teaching and connecting with young students. Children truly brighten my day and make my work just as rewarding as it is fun.
