About Cassandra
I was trained as a peer-tutor in 2007 and have tutored a variety of individuals since then. I volunteered in high school Spanish classes and an AVID class, as well as with younger children in an after school program. For two summers, I worked as a tutor for middle school summer science programs. Consequently, I have experience helping elementary school students with every subject, high school students with math, English, and science, as well as proof-reading and editing papers for college students. I gained this experience through individual tutoring as well as in group settings. I have a passion for helping others learn and I love seeing others find joy in learning too.
