About Carrie

I have 10 years of experience. I have four adult children, so have plenty of experience with children. I have worked at a children's psychiatric hospital for almost 3 years, working directly with children with behavioral behaviors. I worked with predominately ages 5-12 in the hospital, however; also worked with adolescents and children with ASD. In addition, I have experience as a paraprofessional in a Special Needs K-3 classroom. I have been a Nanny to infant twins for approximately 2 years. I have my B. S. in Psychology and am currently obtaining my Masters in Social Work. Once I have my M. S. W., I plan on working with children; particularly those who have been in the Foster Care system, or who have experienced trauma. In addition to my educational and professional experience, I have coached cheerleading, been a Girl Scout Troop Leader, Vice-President of the PTO and a Room Mom for several of my children's classrooms.
