Help! I am a grandma without grandchildren! Dependable. Sensible. 35+ years experience as nanny, sitter, and mother including children with special needs. I love people and define love as the extension of myself to nurture and support another mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We all need an authentically warm, caring, and loving person in our lives. I have 3 grown (each 18 months apart) successful children, two of whom became teachers: 1 teaches the deaf and hard of hearing and 1 teaches music. I also operated a successful in-home childcare business for 10 years. I enjoy reading to children and playing games, especially those that teach life skills or are educational. I enjoy baking tarts and pies. It's something all children over 3 can do. My grandmother started teaching me when I was old enough to roll out small pieces of dough and helps children with motor skills and following directions. It also helps boost self-confidence.
