About Carolyn

I'm the oldest of 6 children (the youngest ones were born when I was old enough to be their mom, so I grew up taking care of babies!) and started babysitting for other families when I was 12. I also worked as a nanny for 2 families when I was in college. After college I worked with children on the Autism spectrum, and after earning my CNA license I worked nights at an assisted living facility. (My CNA license expired, but the knowledge is still there!). Driving record available upon request. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom to 3 kids (ages 13, 11, and 8), all of whom have a diagnosis and/or challenging behaviors. My previous work experience has come in handy, and while I can't say I've seen it ALL, I've certainly dealt with a lot! I homeschool my oldest (which makes finding a traditional job difficult!). I'm looking for non-traditional babysitting roles (i. e., evenings or overnight) to bring in some money while allowing me to be home during school hours on most days.
