About Caroline

I have worked closely with and grown to love my elderly neighbor as her health has unfortunately deteriorated over the last three years. She is suffering from colon cancer, lung cancer, and COPD. My responsibilities with her included taking her to doctors appointments, helping her keep up with her medicines and nebulizer treatments, and managing her oxygen tank use. I helped her with housekeeping, meal preparation, and bathing. Additionally, I helped her keep living her life. We went on lunch outings, gardened, read books together, and took her dog on walks. The time I spent working with her and the impact she had on me is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am a compassionate, responsible young woman who is dedicated to satisfying the unique needs of every elderly person who I have the privilege of getting to know.
