About Carmen

I'm a mom of twins who are both in college. Even though I've transitioned from bedtime stories, birthday party planning, packing lunches, freezing soccer games, Friday football games, and nightly homework struggles, I still have so much to give! I loved everything about being a mom and the beauty of caring for a child. I've also used caregivers and understand the need to step away but still need someone to stand in your place and provide care and safety for a few hours. About me - I love to read and maintain a library from Goodnight Moon to the Red Queen. I believe reading to and with a child is one of the most important things parents can do. I work in the IT industry and have worked for a major company for 20+ years. I'm a native Texan and received my bachelors degree from UT and masters degree from UTD. I work during the day so I'm available evenings and weekends. I'm also available during the day on some holidays.
