About Carmela

My work with seniors is not a job, it is a calling. With 30 plus years of experience in nursing homes and seniors, I am equipped to engage people with dementia and people at end of life. I have training in pastoral counseling, Alzheimer's and recreational therapy. If you are looking for respite or someone to come and 'engage' your family member in life, I am that person. I currently work as a chaplain part time. I am a certified dementia practitioner as well as a certified dementia communication specialist. I am intuitive and believe that integrating the whole person is necessary to provide the best care possible.
