About Carly

I completed a dual Masters program in Social Work and Public Health at University at Buffalo. I was working at a hospital managing grants and community programs until I had my son in November 2022. I am now home with him, which I love! He is very social and I would love to have him around others his age more often and would like to provide care for others in my home 1-2 days per week. We have a play area outside with a mud kitchen, a beautiful sunroom play area inside with many developmentally appropriate toys. I love creating Montessori type learning activities to try with my son. My previous work experience includes working with adults who have developmental disabilities, working with individuals and families who are homeless, a residential placement for children with behavioral issues, work with refugees and hospital social work. I love spending time outside with kids, reading, creating games and craft projects. I'm a kind, thoughtful, gentle person.
