About Carlington

My name is Carlington, but you can call me Carly! I have been babysitting since age 10, but have been working in education since graduating from college in 2018. I worked for two years with children with moderate to severe disabilities, many with accompanying health issues. I have been teaching at a preschool since 2019 in all classes, infant through Pre-K. (Infants and toddlers have been my favorite) I have been providing respite care for a child with disabilities since 2020, as well as their siblings. I like working with kids because it's so magical to watch them grow and learn! In my spare time, I like to collect vinyl records, listen to music, read, hike, cook, bake, and stay up to date on tv and movies! One thing you should know about me is I'm so flexible. My preferred times are NOT set in stone. My skills include making learning fun and magical, sneakily teaching through play, and fostering independence.
