About Carla

Hi, I'm Carla! I'm an Atlanta native who's been babysitting since 7th grade... and NSYNC's first album came out then, so it's been a long time--25 years! I value making kids feel heard and respected as they navigate life. I think they have the most profound (and funny!) insights, and I enjoy reinforcing their confidence to express themselves. My experience spans from date night babysitting to full-time nannying. I also coached gymnastics for several years, working with large numbers of kids in everything from weekly classes to summer camps to after-school programs. During the pandemic, I nannied full-time and used my past experience to create a summer camp curriculum that could all be done without leaving the home. Not only did we survive the months of lockdown, but we had lots of fun and learned lots of new things! I then supervised a full year of school on . I am fully vaccinated and boosted, a nonsmoker, a safe driver and CPR certified!
