About Cara

As a mother to 2 of my own grown children, I have seen all the different phases of childhood. Before I had my own children, I was a nanny for many years, and while my children were young I worked as a birth, and postpartum doula. I am nurturing, and gentle, I believe children feel most safe when there are clear and consistent boundaries. I am easy going, but I am not a pushover. I hope to work with a family who holds similar values. Over the last year, I worked with a family, as a personal/ executive assistant, running errands, making weekly meal plans, grocery shopping and daily food prep. I love getting kids engaged in outdoor activities like gardening or simple cooking/ baking projects. I am punctual, reliable, and flexible.
