About Candice

I have spent a great deal of time over the past 20+ years working with children. Early on I was a mother's helper for my aunt and uncle with their triplet girls from the time they were 8 months until about age 7. Since then I have worked with 3 families long-term for 3-4 years each as well as a couple families who only needed temporary care. Any combination from twin babies to active kids getting to school and sports. Most recently I have been with my current family for 3 1/2 years with their 8-month-old daughter through her entering pre-school and then her baby sister born last year. I love to spend time with children reading, exploring outside, and encouraging an inquisitive nature. My observational skills help me in learning what makes each child "tick" to help with everything from picky eaters to babies who are reluctant to nap!
