About Caitlin

I've always been a magnet for the kids in my family. That naturally followed me to be an after- school teacher and mentor upon moving to New Orleans at 19 years old. Some topics I assisted in teaching over the years were dance, arts and crafts, and gardening. As a part of the program I worked for, we also took multiple classes on social emotional learning/ behavioral skills and trauma- informed care. In 2016, I decided I wanted to be a live- in Au Pair in Barcelona, Spain to two girls aged 8 and 10 (at the time). This was a great experience where we exchanged English and Spanish through various creative activities and daily life. I eventually fell into the role of a big sister to them. My most recent experience with childcare was in a shelter in New Orleans caring for mostly infants and toddlers. I did this 2x a week until moving back to Ohio in mid August 2023. Cooking and light cleaning are also tasks I have a lot of experience with and even enjoy.
