About Caitlin

I have been working as a paraprofessional in elementary schools for 8 years. I know how to be fun for kids and still make sure rules are followed. I like to come up with creative activities and know how to help with homework. My experience in the classroom has taught me a lot about different learning and communication styles. I like working with kids because they make me laugh and I can be silly. I like to be a good role model by being positive and kind. I started working with kids 10 years ago at Sunday school teaching ukulele and after that for a bilingual charter school. I have worked with ages 5-18 and special needs including autism for the last 5 years. My skills include experience with children with special needs, teaching academics and fun art projects/games to keep kids busy. I also teach guitar and other musical instruments.
