Would Grandma like listening to poetry? Would Dad enjoy some home-cooked meals? Would it be helpful to have someone to take notes at Mom's doctor appointments? Would Grandad appreciate a listening ear? I am a community college professor with summers off. I would love to provide some care and companionship to the senior in your family. This would be my first time employed as a senior companion but I love helping my 99-year-old neighbor with household tasks and hear the stories of her life. My background and education make me an ideal caregiver for your family member that needs a bit of help and some company. I'm not a skilled nurse but I am friendly and competent. I have transportation and am available any day but not overnight. I am available May 1 to August 15.
