A little bit about myself, I'm from South Africa and I'm a former Au Pair with experience in taking care of children of a wide range in age. My first Au Pair Host Family had 9 children the youngest was 4 months old and the oldest was 16 years when I joined the family. My second family had 2 children 4 & 9 years and my last family had a 3-month-old as well as a 3-year-old special needs (autistic) boy. I also did a lot of volunteering at my local primary school in South Africa where I was a teacher's assistant, helped with after school activities and I ran a day care program at the school during school holidays for the parents who needed childcare. I'm a fluent English speaker and speak 4 languages fluently (sePedi, isiZulu and seSotho). I read and understand Afrikaans very well, better than I can speak it and I'm currently learning Spanish and Vietnamese. I love languages very much and would love to have a family where we can exchange in teaching one another languages.
