About Bruna

Bruna has been working with my family as an au pair since June 2022 (through June 2024). My son was 2 months old when she arrived, and just over 2 years old at the end of the exchange. My son absolutely adores her (my dog too!). She is the one person who knows my son's routine inside and out (and often even better than my husband!). As his au pair, she gets him ready for day care in the morning, drives him to/from daycare, and then cares for him in the afternoon until my husband and I get home from work. Occasionally, she has watched him overnight. Other responsibilities include changing diapers, feeding him (bottles when he was a baby, baby-led weaning at 6 months), putting him down for naps, and driving him places. She also helps with his dishes and laundry, and acts as my liaison with daycare. She also speaks to my son in Portuguese (in addition to English), and he is learning to speak and understand it, which is amazing! Bruna quickly learned my son's routine, and how I like things done around the house. She is a very responsible driver, and has been driving almost daily in the US for 2 years. I trust her completely with my son's care, and cannot recommend her more!
