About Brooke

We always hate writing less-than-perfect reviews. But, unfortunately, our interaction with Brooke was somewhat of a disappointment. We initially met with her at our home on a weekend, and hired her immediately after, to take care of our 3-year old son during the work week. The night before starting she texted to notify us that she had a personal issue to deal with, and would be unable to start as planned — but, would be in touch shortly to reschedule. We got no further communication after almost a week and a half of us trying to message and call her. When she finally decided to reach back out to us a week and a half later via text message, she notified us that she had decided that she was simply too busy during the week to look after our son, and would have to pass on the opportunity. At that point we had taken numerous days off of work, and had already turned down two other candidates in anticipation of Brooke taking care of our son. Three weeks later, we are still in the process of trying to find help. So, it’s not a minor inconvenience to families when someone doesn’t take child care seriously. All of that said, she seemed like a fairly nice individual from the short interaction we had with her.
