I can babysit children in different age groups. I always make sure that the child/children feel comfortable and well, I am good at coming up with ideas and activities. I love to teach the children new things, do crafts, explore outside with them and most of all create amazing bonds. I want to be able to provide parents with comfort and security of having someone trustworthy watching their little ones.

I engaged the services of Brooke to assist me with the after-school pickup and activities for my children, aged 10 and 12. My kids are quite capable and independent, handling most of their own affairs with ease. I must express my apprehension regarding the experience I had, and I feel compelled to share my account as a warning to parents, especially those with infants or toddlers who depend on adults for their fundamental and daily necessities. Allow me to elucidate the reasons behind my cautionary message to parents. - Brooke's punctuality has been a constant issue, with her failing to arrive on time or even showing up at all. It's quite disheartening. I recall one particular incident when she completely forgot to pick up my kids on a half day, and I received a distressing call from my kids that Brooke didn’t come to pick them up. Naturally concerned, I rushed to pick them up myself. I reached out to Brooke multiple times, filled with worry, until she finally answered and casually mentioned that she wasn't feeling well and had overslept. - She failed to keep me informed about the whereabouts of my children, despite my request for text updates when she picked them up and arrived home. Her communication was highly unreliable and inconsistent. - She would take my kids with her to run personal errands without my permission. - She would use foul language, including the inappropriate use of the F word, when speaking to my children. - She was unable to provide receipts for the money I gave her, making it difficult for me to track how it was being spent on my children. - When I was traveling for work, she administered over the counter Tylenol to my daughter without my consent then later told me about it. - The most concerning incident occurred during fall break when I had scheduled her to arrive at my house at 8:30am, M-F. She was late every day, and I had to call her most days to wake her up. One day, I came home for lunch and found her sleeping on the sofa. I called her name, but she didn't wake up. I decided to make lunch while my kids were home playing, eventually retreating to their rooms. With the backdoor left open and the air conditioning running, I walked over to close the door and called her name again, hoping to rouse her. This time, she woke up confused and admitted she wasn't sure how she had fallen asleep. When I asked her where the kids were, she replied, "Um, I don't know, maybe at the pool." It was a terrifying moment, as it became evident, she had no idea of their whereabouts. She was disoriented and visibly flustered during our conversation. - One day I found a leash fastened securely to the handrail, which, posed a significant safety risk in the event that someone became entangled in it. - She would leave our senior dog outside for extended periods of time in the summer heat which was explicitly explained do not leave the dog outside.
