About Brooke

Hi, my name is Brooke! I work in Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Clinical Trial Research at UIHC. I love working with kids and have 7 years of babysitting experience and 1 year of full time nannying experience. I have worked as a lifeguard and as a Certified Nurse Aide where I was adult, child and infant CPR certified. I have worked with newborns all the way to 15-year-olds. Looking for families to babysit for regularly or for date-nights and outings on the weekends. I'd describe my personality as hard-working, passionate and empathetic. I like working with kids because well... they like me! A skill I've learned is knowing what different kids respond well to. Some are quiet, some like lots of energy and some just need a friend. In my previous jobs, I've babysat or nannied for that family until I moved out of town or they did! They become family. It would be cool to have that in this area.
