About Brittany

Hello potential families! I am relocating to Austin in the end of March & hope to find a family looking for full time care. I have 5 years of childcare experience in residential and school care. At the residential home I cared for 20+ children with severe trauma & implemented behavior modification plans to help them find lasting homes. I was responsible for their morning/night routines, planned artistic & athletic activities, & supervised their academic hours. I also have 2 years of classroom experience. I worked in Spain as an English teacher in 2022/23. Presently, I work in a social/emotional learning class for children with Autism, trauma &/or other neuro-divergencies. I am responsible for implementing behavior plans & ensuring students access their learning. With my behavior intervention experience I am comfortable with all types of children. I am very outgoing, bubbly & love to plan fun activities. Additionally, I have learned the importance of firm boundaries & expectations.
