I have a Bachelor's in Social Work and I've worked with children and Seniors. I find that I really enjoy working with the elderly... they have the best stories! They deserve wonderful care just as they provided care for their families. I received CNA training through the Red Cross but didn't pursue it as a career because I got a job with Aging Matters in Brevard. I worked with them as a Case Manager for the past 5yrs to provide in-home services to those over age 60 so they could remain in their own homes. I've also been paid to provide hands on care for a few clients over the past 10yrs. I'm a single mother with an 8yr old son who has Autism and ADHD. We recently moved to Richlands from Titusville, FL to be closer to family. I'm very patient, caring, understanding, and calm under pressure.
