About Brigid

Hi! My name is Brigid. I have been a teacher for 8 years and love what I do! I am patient, loving, fun and kind. I have 4 years of experience as preschool teacher, specifically in Deaf education, and have 4 years of experience in early intervention (special education). I believe children learn best through a variety of methods, especially through play, and that every child has the ability to be an eager, successful learner. I would love to help your child prepare for preschool or get a head start for kindergarten! I'd describe my personality as fun, loving, and patient. I like tutoring because every child deserves to learn. It's our job as adults to figure out how to make learning work for them! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, read, be out in nature, and sing!
