About Brenna

I am a certified elementary teacher. I am currently teaching 6th/7th Reading and Writing. I am going on my 8th year of teaching having experience in 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th grade. In the past few summers I have been a full-time nanny for children ages 4 months, 2 years 5 years and 8 years old. I have had many experiences with children ranging from the ages of infants to teenagers. While taking on the responsibility of a summer nanny I was responsible for daily needs of the children which included planning activities, arts and crafts, day trips to the movies, zoo or the pool, preparing meals and also extended school enrichment. I planned 30 minute lessons in reading and math to help the children stay on the right level and be prepared for the upcoming grade. I am very dedicated to making sure I do the best job I can. I absolutely love working with children and can't imagine doing anything else.
