Taking care of your loved one like my own is what I do best. My experience ranges from caring for a hip replacement patient 24/7 for 5 weeks, preparing meals, cleaning, grocery shopping, transporting to doctor visits, dispensing prescriptions and vitamins, etc., to providing companionship during tea time. I have provided over night care 5 nights per week for a client who is a recent amputee. I help with toileting needs, bathing, dressing, transfers from bed to wheel chair, laundry, transportation etc. I have experience with a tracheostomy client who is also diabetic. This involves sterilization of trache site, changing gauze, sterilizing equipment, monitoring blood sugar levels and frequent doctor appointments. I have provided overnight care for a 98-year-old woman for the past 8 months. This included preparing her dinner, helping her with her bed time routine and getting up with her during the night. I love what I do and I love my clients who have become part of my family.
