About Brenda

I have 15+ years experience teaching K-12 in all subject areas as well as a degree in Special Education. I believe in reaching each child before I teach them in the way they learn and NOT the way I teach. I adapt to all learning styles and methods of learning. I engage each student in the lessons and try to go beyond just the textbook or worksheets. It is my goal to open doors and minds of learners with authentic, realistic connections to the world around them.
