I unexpectedly had my own work hours reduced so I let her know I MIGHT need to reduce her hours but we'd talk about it. Well, she apparently got a new job. Instead of telling me as soon as possible, she asked to get paid for the week early, then texted at 9pm Sunday night before her 9am Monday start time saying she found a new job. She refused to talk on the phone or take any responsibility for her immature and incredibly disrespectful actions. I had to scramble to try to find coverage and was of course unsuccessfully. The additional stress she has caused my kids and me is ridiculous. She could care less what impact her decision has on my family. Do NOT hire her!!
