About Bonnie
My name is Bonnie and I'm very interested in your job posting. I'm a retired teacher (just retired this year) and have worked with children of various ages throughout my career and in previous jobs. I've taught kindergarten through eighth grade, excluding second and fourth grades. I'm the oldest of eight kids and have two children of my own. I have been taking Covid-19 precautions during this pandemic. I always wear a mask when out and socially distance while in stores. I'd be happy to provide references if needed. Bonnie has worked for us for us for 9 months, managing two kids (4 and 6) doing virtual school, helping with school work, playing games, doing arts/crafts and giving the kids lunch. She is friendly, dependable and really cares about the kids. Her creativity is one of her best assets, making crafts with the kids for every holiday. She has a lot of patience to deal with two boys that have a lot of energy and big personalities. Her experience as an educator is another strength and she has helped my older son improve his reading skills over the past year. Anyone would be lucky to have her take care of and/or tutor their kids.
