About Bobbyjo

I am the eldest of 6 children, 1 of the children is special needs, so I know what it is like to work with many children at a time and be on a schedule. During my 4 years in high school, I worked in the local Elementary school in the ESP Program (Extended School Program) as a teacher's aid for 2nd-6th grade. I would assist children with homework and do fun activities with them. I have my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I also have my certification from Minot State University as a Certified Direct Support Professional. I was a 6th grade English teacher in ND for a year before I moved with my Husband to the lovely Brainerd Lakes Area. I love to create fun activities for kids to do, such as homemade board games and crafts ideas. I also enjoy being active as I was a cheerleader for the University of North Dakota and believe that exercise for children is very important.

We recently hired BobbyJo to watch our children on a couple of occasions while we were on vacation at a local resort. She was so friendly, warm, outgoing, thoughtful, helpful and my children whom are both 6 and 3, absolutely loved her company. She kept them and entertained and never hesitated to ask any questions! We truly enjoyed her company and would love to hire her again for the same occasion next year!
