About Bibi

Farida is wonderfully nurturing and hard-working. She lives in Queens and has 32 years of experience caring for children in the New York City region. Farida has a great sense of humor and works collaboratively with parents. She has been with her present family for nearly five years, and is looking for a part-time position, so that she can care for their child after school. Farida knows the ins and outs of Forest Hills, from Austin St. playground to Commonpoint. She loves children and is great with infants. She began caring for her current family's son when he was 2 months old. She is excited to support children's development, as they potty-train, take naps, play outside, and have fun with other kids. She cooks delicious Guyanese food! Farida is passionate about New York City's diversity, and has worked with families of different religious and racial backgrounds. Her families have included same-sex and divorced parents. Farida does not drink or smoke. She is allergic to cats and dogs.
