About Betty

I helped take care of my Dad when he had cancer. I would take him to his doctor appointments and made sure he was comfortable. I loved talking to him and listening to the numerous stories about his life. We watched TV, talked and sang together. He was my support when my husband died and I was his support until he passed away. I moved in with my mother after my Dad died and took care of my Mom. We did so many things together. We would go grocery shopping, out to eat, go to the bank, shopped at different stores and any other place she would want to go. I was very close to my Mom and we enjoyed watching Korean dramas and listening to music she loved. I helped her cook and clean the house. I also enjoyed hearing her stories of her life in Korea. And I stayed with my Mom until she passed away. I know I would be a great care companion to other seniors because of how much I enjoyed being with my parents. As they were a blessing to me, I would like to be a blessing to other seniors.
