About Bethany

Hello! I am currently working towards my PhD in clinical psychology at UMKC, and would love to help others out along the way. I have worked in a holistic wellness center where many of the clients were elderly. While this was not at home service, I gained experience working with these individuals, including helping them get around, scheduling, and staying active. I also have experience helping in water aerobics classes, which mostly consisted of elderly people. Concurrently, I was working as a lifeguard, where I helped older individuals get around the pool, shower, and change. I am wanting to move to helping in an at home setting, as I know this is where individuals feel most comfortable!
