About Barbara

I am Barbara from Brazil. I have been here in the US NYC for almost a year now. I was an Au Pair with an amazing host family. I used to take care of two kids who are the love of my life. I have always loved having children around me, I believe they have supernatural strength that can change the world. In 2020, I had the opportunity to take care of A (1yo); she is a lovely child who is constantly evolving, she developed very quickly, and I had the chance to be with her in very important moments. I took care of her for 10 hours a day and in that time, we went on many adventures together, we loved discovering new games, and I was always trying to stimulate her curiosity, imagination and creativity. In 2022, I worked as a monitor in a bilingual school, I took care of 20 children at the same time, they were children from 1 to 13 years old, as the age difference was big, I always did activities related to each age, I enjoyed teaching them new things. It was a great experience.
