About Barbara

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic and compassionate I like caring for seniors because there is a need. Many cannot help themselves and I am good at it. I am a caregiver by nature, I appreciate the opportunity to give back in this way. Caregiving in any capacity comes naturally to me. I like to think that the care I give to others is the same care I would give my mother if she were still here, and I loved my mom dearly. I believe we are on this planet to help one another. Also I need the salary to support myself. I'm looking for a part time job that utilizes my gifting as care giver and homemaker. I cook, like things neat and orderly and I get great pleasure in doing these things and making someone's life easier and better. I started caring for seniors when my mother started showing signs of dementia in 2004. In 2009 I made caregiving my occupation. My skills include patience, empathy, passion for the job, and a good amount of common sense.
