About Barbara

My name is Barb. With 30 years of educational experience, I have worked as a preschool teacher, tutor, and instructional aide. I have my Masters in Teaching and although I am certified to teach pre-k through 6th grade in both PA and NJ, I have experience tutoring Middle and High School Students. My students include children with disabilities and neurotypical students. Apart from my paid experience, I volunteered to teach Sunday School and was the learning coach for my four cyber schooled children. I have experience working both in person and online. Taking discouraged, failing students and helping them to become confident "A" students, my compassionate and engaging approach enables me to connect with students in a way that encourages and inspires learning. I'd love to help your student meet and exceed their own expectations, bridge between grades, help with summer learning packets, keep up their skills, learn some new ones, and prepare for the year ahead!
