I have a passion for working with children and watching them grow, I have had the opportunity to work with children ranging from infants, to little ones and twos , all the way up to those ready for their first day of kindergarten and even grade-schoolers who have found their voice. I spent a year as a Prekindergarten teacher, working with children on their social/emotional skills, gross motor and fine motor abilities as well as baseline math, writing and problem solving skills. I moved to Fort Collins to work specifically with children with special needs and love my job working at the school district. I have begun my masters in Special Education as well as General education at the University of Northern Colorado. I would love the opportunity to work with and grow with your child (children). Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing Bailey is as a care-taker, teacher, and human. Bailey worked with our family for about a year as a Nanny for our young kids (pre-school and school aged) and did such a phenomenal job. From the first meeting, the kids loved and adored her and she developed deep and lasting relationships with them. Bailey is not just dependable - she is the kind of person that always goes the extra mile, whether it's planning enriching activities with the kids or taking care of something she sees that needs to be done around the house (without even being asked). I've been an educator for almost 15 years and would place Bailey right up there among the most gifted natural teachers I have met or worked with. She anticipates and proactively heads off issues before they occur and always really thoughtful and thinks deeply about what each individual child needs to thrive. You should hire her immediately if given the chance.
